If so, we begin by assessing the commercial and technical feasibility of the project, whereby the concept is interpreted in terms of user needs and requirements, functional and safety requirements, and compliance with the relevant regulations and standards. 

First functional model

Once the initial framework is complete De Koningh Medical Systems selects and investigates a number of principle solutions. This involves the production of a first functional model, a prototype and, where relevant, a number of proposals for the industrial design. This Phase also includes the compilation of the risk inventory.
